A brief glimpse at Florida while I'm catching up.....

I've been meaning to finish off posting about our spring break trip for weeks now, and it almost seems silly to go all the way back then in my catching up, but I thought I'd just share a few photos from Florida while I'm here and then quickly catch up on the past month or so that I can hopefully maintain this new groove I'm determined to start up today:-)

We spent a week with Jamie's dad and stepmom, in Punta Gorda on the Gulf Coast of Florida.  The biggest hit, FOR sure, was the salt water pool attached to their house, but we also enjoyed exploring a couple of the little parks nearby and going out on their boats.  There's some neat places to explore 1-2 hours away, but seeing that we drove 24 hours down and knew we had to drive 24 hours back, car trips were NOT high on our list of things to do!  Perhaps next time we'll save up the money to fly down, so we can explore further afield.  For now, though, here's a glimpse of the holiday we enjoyed:
